About the Artist

The mind allows us infinite freedom to imagine....enjoy!
I hope you enjoy the innovative art that you see here. All pieces are created by me, and are interpretations of photographs I have taken. Each one has a different meaning for those viewing it. I hope you find whatever you are looking for.
Jessie McGee was raised in Laurel, MT. She graduated from Laurel High School and attended college at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND; where she earned her bachelors degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences Education and minored in Music and History. In addition to her academia she also excelled in two collegiate sports, basketball and softball. Sports have always been a major part of her life, as has music. In 2007 her life was dramatically changed when she suffered a traumatic brain injury. She has since been opened up to a world of art. These are her interpretations of life, pain, and happiness. She hopes you find them intriguing as well as a source of inspiration and hope.
"There is no perfect life, at some point there are twists and turns, ups and downs. It is how we react to these changes that shows us who we really are." -Jessie McGee
